We cover the part travelers actually need help with: which airport, what happens on arrival, and getting from the terminal to where they're staying, without a bad surprise attached.
What this site is
ColombiaAirports.com is the parent of four independent city sites covering Colombia's main international arrival airports: MedellinAirport.co, BogotaAirport.co, CartagenaAirport.co, CaliAirport.co. The city sites handle arrival information and, once booking opens, private pre-booked transfers. This site answers the questions that cross airports: which one to fly into, how Check-MIG works, and how connections through Bogotá work.
We have no affiliation with any Colombian airport, Aerocivil, any airport operator, or any government body. We don't use their logos, we don't copy their branding, and we don't claim their authority. Airport names and codes appear here for identification only.
What we do, and what we don't
We do: publish airport information, and (once booking opens) quote fixed transfer prices, take bookings, assign trips to licensed transport companies, and support travelers in English and Spanish.
We don't: own vehicles or employ drivers. Colombian regulation directs this kind of passenger transport through authorized special-transport companies rather than individual drivers, and we contract accordingly. Our partners supply the licensed drivers, the vehicles, the insurance and the operating authorization. We supply the customer, the booking and the accountability.
Why we're launching slowly
Before we take a payment, we're completing the Colombian operating structure, the tourism-registry requirements that apply to this kind of platform, and signed rate agreements with several licensed operators per city. Medellín opens first, and the other cities follow once the model works there.
How we'll make money
When booking opens, you'll pay a fixed price for your transfer. The licensed transport company receives an agreed net rate, and we keep the difference for the booking, coordination and support. No surge pricing, and no fees added at checkout. If a page ever carries links to other companies' travel services, we'll say so on that page.
Our rules for what we publish
- No invented fares, distances or travel times. Approximate figures are labelled approximate.
- No fabricated reviews or testimonials, ever. Reviews will come from real completed trips or they won't exist.
- Honest comparisons, including the options that are cheaper than ours.
- Facts that change get a review date and a cited source, preferably an official one.
- A clear statement that we are not the airport, at the top of every page.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us. We'd rather fix it today than be confidently wrong for a year. Operator names are a good example: two of the four airports in this network have changed operators since 2024.
